Any opinion on Sidhu's exit...The guy is not as much of a clown as he comes across on television.....You can't win 4 times in a row based on your celebrity status alone.....Did BJP mishandle him?

 

I thought Sidhu had a lot of integrity despite how he comes across but now joining AAP will be a purely political move........This may not end well for Sidhu or he might just be a new power player in Punjab politics

Are we sure there is a cabinet reshuffle. There are always rumors, but it doesn't seem to happen unless a big election is coming up.

Jaitley has got 2 portfolios. And I still think Irani is going to go up against Pappu again in 2019, so she needs a bigger portfolio. Reshuffle should happen but it will probably be the last before 2019.

Who do you think he will give Defense to ?  He doesn't seem to trust very many of his ministers. By putting Javedkar into HRD it shows how little BJP is valuing that ministry and Irani might've had a promotion when she became Textiles minister, as Modi is pushing Khadi big time.

I was thinking Suresh Prabhu but there are too many things happening in railways, so it may not be the right time for change there. Maybe Parrikar should come back; he was shaping up to be the best DM India has had. 

 

As for Irani, textiles may be a big job churner but HRD is crying for intervention. RTE has pretty much sunk the schooling system. It needs someone who can handle the psecs blowback when corrections are made.

He might bring one of the other CMs like Raman Singh or Chauhan to be DM. 

 

The problem with HRD is that both ministers Irani and Javedkar, know that RTE is an issue, but neither seems willing to take action. Irani even met an anti-RTE activist, blogs under the name Reality Check India, during the beginning of Modi's term, but nothing significant happened during her entire term. This Javedkar fellow just seems like an idiot in the Swarajya interview, when asked about RTE and 93rd amendment. Modi needs to find someone with a brain like MM Joshi to be HRD.

honestly i think out of 3 factions , 2 are pro-bjp ( OPS & EPS ) and the other one is scared of BJP ( sasikala/dinakran ) ..

if OPS n EPS join together then surely they ll form an allliance with BJP ( probably is bjp is trying to broker a deal between eps n ops )

People keep saying that BJP will lose some seats in the north as they are already capped out... Its sounds logical but who are the people going to vote for if not BJP? 

From everything one reads about Amit Shah, "Congress Mukt Bharat" isn't just a slogan for him. He is going to go full out to get seats in WB, Orissa and Kerala. They may do a tieup, post poll, out of courtesy with centrist parties like BJD otherwise expect it to be a no holds barred slugfest.

^ :dance: Let the fun begin. Strong action against corruption. Systematically, corrupt cong, RJD, AAP, TMC members are targeted and brought to fore. The entire opposition will crumble next 2 years.

Gandhy Nehuru family have enough of it to fight till next generation.

 

I think its about time Gandhy family should be directed by Supreme Court not to abuse the name of "Gandhi" by durGandh Gandhys
