vvvslaxman Posted May 16, 2014 Posted May 16, 2014 Samson keeping technique is suspect. Saha has better technique. But his batting is not a long term option. There is the catch 22 situation. Having said that we had Rahul Dravid, Parthiv Patel, Deepdas gupta as keepers . Samson won't be that bad a choice as he is a genuine top order batsman.

He has a long way to go in terms of playing long innings. He has already shown weakness against spin bowlers. Let him play 2 more full domestic seasons and get into indian team as a complete batsmen.
