How are we sure he rectified his short ball problem.Due to his success in ODIs in India? Only way he can win us a Test match in Aus is by not being a part of it

He is just an inferior version of Yuvi.Doesn't have temperament either for test cricket He shouldn't be anywhere near the test first choice XI .

Even the best ones are failing against spin. I don't think it was the case earlier.

He has improved a lot but dont know if he has patience to build innings in tests. By the way, will he even get a chance to play? I think batsman spots are booked.

SRT100 Posted November 10, 2014 Posted November 10, 2014 The answer is very very simple. Raina MUST play in the Test team. He needs as much exposure on the Australian pitches before the ODI tri series and for preparation for the World Cup. It would be a terrible mistake to not include him.

Raina struggles to hold himself back even in ODIs (which is good), a bowler to lure Raina to commit an error is easy as a hot knife on butter. Picking him sends wrong message to the likes of Jadhav who have worked their back off to get a place.

He does not even have a good FC record or good record in overseas ODIs to go to
