Yes. The Dukes swings even more in Windies than it does in England so that is not a bad length in those conditions but its left to be seen whether he can hit a good length hard in less helpful conditions. Barely 20 though. Long way to go.

acc to virat 2014 england tour he shudnt have even scored in 2018 yet he ended up making 650

Rohit overseas in past n now huge diff 

KL technique was in shambles last england tour 

What did pujara do on his 1st overseas cycle to be even continued in any overseas country ?? Till today if ashwin logic is maintained he shudnt be taken to WI or NZ, even england is poor

 

 

Present form matters, it isnt that players dont learn over a period of time. Kumble became a force after 2003 tour down under. 

Ashwin bowled well in england last time 1st test, 2nd test pitch was green n it was raining, third he got injured n 4th he played with injury- this isnt even a tour to judge

On a day 5 pitch where Anderson couldn't pick our tailenders.. our bowlers are doing a fabulous job to pick 5 wickets already..

Because I don't see anything different from him. Slow and low Pitches of English don't his type of bowling. Ball doesn't turn off the pitch and england doesn't have many left handers in top order.

 

He struggles even in India if the pitch isn't offering square turn like first test first innings in Chennai. This pitch at Lords is even flatter

this left hander n right hander is overrated now with ashwin, he is excellent against lefties doesnt mean he cant bowl to right handers

he did take out smith n marnus both righty , even in SMA final a t20 game he took rahul n mayank consecutively so he kwns how to bowl to a righty 

 

but when have u seen him on these England pitches bowl recently ?? he played in county took a lot of wkts and in WTC where he looked better then other bowlers.

Did he fail in county like Vihari or Pujara ? England aint  gonna give green tracks on this tour and batting wkt will start to turn by 4th 5th day unless they are roads like of 2006 pakistan tour

Pace, bounce, accuracy, seam movement, swing, bouncers ... everything is there.
