Jammu express doing well, umran will be the one to watch out for.

Waiting to see him paired with bumrah.

I saw his recent intvws..he is working onhitting line and length consistently…practicing yorkers every session..practicing slower balls as well..

With more game time under his belt he is going to get more confident, consistent, smarter and lethal..

Hangerakar is noway consistently quicker as of now, he's isn't that quick which we make of him "as yet"

Mavi is disappointingly bowling way slow than what he's capable of

I can bet anything,he can bowl well over 150 tomorrow if he wants to, that's what he is

We need Jyamvant type bowling coach to awaken the giant inside these guys

Hangerakar doesn't have that pace ceiling which Mavi has

You're right, Mavi has potential to hit higher pace, but the present version of Mavi (Mavi 2.0) is nothing but another copy of Bhuvi.

Mavi when he played IPL 2018 hit 149 k and was lighting up the speed guns, however the Mavi who played in 2022 IPL was barely touching 140 and was mostly in 130-135 range...that's a big difference of 9-10 kmph.

How can someone go from 145+ to 130+ in such a short period.

Yes. But as Hardik is the captain and will be around for long, Bawa can come in at 8.

In Senior Cricket, he is bowling his full quota with panache and is a full fledged bowler now in white ball cricket.

bawa is indeed supposed to be a pandya-like player, who could bat at 6. nishant sindhu and sundar are the potential long-term spin ARs IMO. both can bat in top 6, but can also easily bowl 7-8 overs min

He can. But if he is considered at 6 only then he won't play regularly for India for the next 7 years.  As a 7 or 8, he can play even now.

pandya has become more of a consolidator, and is also starting to bowl less (fitness issues). since he is unlikely to be booted, the best position for him will be no. 5. bawa at 6, sindhu/sundar at 7, rando trundler at 8.

They will play Axar at 7.

We have atleast 4 candidates for 8 who are fast-medium or above.

but somehow harshall "marshall" patel and bhuvi "akhtar" kumar will make it to no. 8

If Hardik can swing/seam the ball in the powerplay..with accuracy..as he said..he is working on it..we dont need Bhuvi in team..the swing specialist..who swings the ball initially and in later half batters swing his balls outta ground..haha…

We need immediate grooming of someone like Kartik Tyagi who can be penetrative at the top too.

followed by express Umran..

another bowler like Bumrah..may be Kuldeep Sen/Mohsin can be groomed for that..good spinner AR

one interesting thing is that if (and this is a BIG if) things go well in terms of development of ARs, we could have as many as 7 bowling options in tests/LOIs in the future.

middle order:

sundar/sindhu

bawa

lower-middle order:

hangu/arjun

bishnoi/axar/kuldeep

+ 3 pure bowlers

I really want Arjun to correct that issue with his bowling technique which iirc@rkt.india pointed out sometime back..

that will give him 5k extra I assume + some zip..

he will be able to reach 145k..

good height, short balls, yorkers, swing and some batting ability..he will be a grear asset for us..

If Hardik can improve on that, we will hit a gold.
Bhuvi anyway is useless after 2 overs...from 3 over onwards batters line up to tonk him into oblivion.
Pandya with his 2/3 overs with new ball + batting ability will allow Bumrah to control middle and death overs...alongside Umran. Tyagi can bowl at any situation so does Siraj.
