Its still too early to lock-on Arshdeep, Ins should keep looking for other options.

 

Mavi does not look Intl material. V.avg pace, no variations can not contribute with bat. Any1 bowling sub 140 kmph should be able to contribute with bat

  Mavi is in Gujrat Titants team so that could be a reason why he is being preferred over other. Plus there are not many Fast bowler who are fully fit or not in stages of recovery.

 

But being from GT would have helped.

Siraj bowling in the lower 130s and too full and leaking runs in the first innings when he's brought back into the attack.

It's just the first innings and he knows his job is primarily to give the spinners a break and exploit any reverse if its there.  

He needs to bowl quick and with more intent. I rather have Umesh here if this is how he's gonna go about in this series. You cant just rely on your ability to get early wickets in these conditions.

Cummins was the fastest with some balls close to 90mph....  Followed by Shami. 

Surprised with Boland..  I thought he was a trundler but he bowled in high 138-139 kph consistently & even touched 140k. 

Siraj was slower & floaty at times. 

 

Morris the tearaway might get to play in Dharamsala I reckon.

Those who have watched Kaverappa bowl, how quick do you reckon he bowls at? For a change the Ranji commentators were impressed with his pace and bounce and were talking about it. He looks like he has decent pace and was extracting good bounce off the slow pitch. Seams the ball both ways. Tall. Accurate. Good potential but needs to get stronger.

135-140. Top of 145 Max. On Indian speed guns which has slower reading. So probably 137-142 bowler.

Bro, I saw Shami touching 141 k and Siraj 139 k ... but did not watch all the deliveries.

 

Shami was regularly 135 k to 140 k and Siraj was 132 k to 139 k range.

 

All our pacers are bowling slower under the current TM.  Total focus is on line and length.
