As an Irish supporter, I am loving Arshdeep's bowling.  Friendly, soft bowling practise at 120k's

I feel Arshdeep has gone backwards after his county stint. The death bowling has gone down the tubes and even the swing he is trying to get is at dibbly dobbly speeds.

sitanshu kotak seems to be doing all the right things- 

 

-got the right team in the 11.

- getting Prasidh and BOOm bowling well.

-batsman are batting well and bowlers are bowling at their potential under him.

- even fielding was OK.

- i liked Jaiswal and rituraj and rinku today- dubey is not ready for international team.

 

Prasidh is bowling fast @142K under sitanshu. he is not holding himself back.

like him as a COACH - atleast last 2 odi's- team is doing well .

Prasidh nearly got his third wicket.

Prasidh as expected is doing great. Hope he will be fit for majority of time in the next 3-5 years.

Prasidh's steep bounce at pace adds a different dimension to the Indian bowling.

 

It would be a big mistake if we leave out Prasidh from the Asia Cup and WC squads.

 

We need this extra bounce. 

 

Infact we need more such pacers once the WC is over.  Mayank Y, Harshit, Sen, Tyagi, Hangargekar.

@express bowling Prasidh is doing great here because pitch has a bit of life. But in WC, where some of the stadiums are going to be lifeless for quicka (I.e. Lucknow), do you see him going as a third quick ?

 

Or we will have Siraj, Bumrah with Pandya or Thakur covering for third pacer.

 

I am saying this, because we may have to bat deep till 8

I want Prasidh in the squad and use him on surfaces which are not too slow.

We got to play Kuldeep as well, thats three duds batting wise in the 11. We just cant afford anymore
