People keep saying Mukesh is short lol. He isn't short. He is taller than bumrah. Yes on the shorter side for a pace bowler especially sena conditions but he isn't a short guy.

Bumrah is taller than people think. 

 

And pacers below 6'2" are not tall for pacers.

When they say short it's understood they are referring to fast bowlers and not regular Joes.

Mukesh would have went like Shardul...  People who think otherwise are straight up delusional.   His pace & lengths are Similar. 

Rather take a punt on Arshdee in Newlands..  But we should be a lil patient with Prasidh.  He finally found his length in later half.

If someone in the playing XI doesn't bowl well, the one on bench automatically becomes Ambrose.

What a morning for Pakistan. Pakistani bowlers turning the heat on. Good inspired bowling by Shaheen. Very medium pace, nothing over 130k's. But its the bounce and the swing. This is where tall bowlers make a difference. If you do not have pace, atleast have the bounce. This is what @express bowling was talking about. 

Not to forget, the pitch is helping the bowlers too.

In Tests Krishna needs to bowl 140+kmph in test and hit the wkt hard, sub 140 kmph for his kind of bowling is another RA nothing bowler.

In While ball cricket he should target mid to high 140s.

Should follow the Harmision (Eng Intnl) , Morkel kind of approach - not saying he is equally and tall and strongly built and emulate them but the follow the approach.

 

If he is bowling full then those should be yorkers not the floaty ones hoping batter pokes them to wicket-kepper.

 

Ind wasted the new-ball - The wkt was doing too much and they didnt know how to use it there they didnt find the edges that often. They were unable to find the length and the speed to bowl at.

All our experienced pacers are medium height or short and lack bounce off length ( only Bumrah had it till  mid 2022 but after his 2nd back injury, he has become a quick swing bowler and down on natural bounce )
