Were you in kanpur watching them in nets???

Usually Bumrah swings the new ball at 135 k to 143 k/ 144 k.

He is looking stiff in this match.

Indian pace attack lacking firepower on a slow pitch.

Bumrah was fast and hostile in the first test. But bowling fast-medium in this test so far. Just a couple of snorters.

Siraj and Akashdeep are fast-medium anyway. Akash looked good as long as the ball was moving and got 2 wickets. But a bit innocuous with the older ball.

And all 3 pacers are medium height.

We need a couple of tall, hit the deck, bouncy, 140 k+ pacers or an express pacer or two who can be consistently 145 k+ with bounce. Pacers who can prise out wickets with bounce when the ball is not moving. Our attack is too dependant on moving the ball.

Dayal would probably have been a better pick than Siraj.

Siraj bowls at Dayal's speeds these days but Dayal is more tall and bouncy.

But Ideally, Harshit Rana should be brought in.

And look to get Mayank ready.

It's a pity that Prasidh is disinterested in international cricket.

3 medium height pacers bowling 135 k+ do not pose any different challenge when the ball is not moving much.

Even Bumrah looked fast medium today.

Bumrah has looked innocuous so far apart from a couple of overs or odd snorters.  His average speed was 138.4 k for the most part of the 1st test 1st innings. Probably averaging around 135 k today. And bowled lots of inaccurate balls too.

Looked out of rhythm.

Bumrah needs to keep playing, clearly the break has not been good for him but this bum pitch is not to his liking.

Akashdeep is for sure nippy. But I guess the commentators are going a bit overboard on this point. They should talk about all the bowlers equivocally.

Akash vo jo wide of the crease se cross kar ke jo ball karta hai us mein batsman LBW ya Bowled ho sakte hain......he gets wicket thru such balls. good to see that he has some tricks on which he can rely.

over all i am DISAPPOINTED with the Pace bowlers in DULEEP trophy. my biggest DISAPPOINTMENT was PRASIDH.

One Wait which is killing me is MAYANK YADAV and UMRAAN wait. when will this " wait" end.
