Think he is too raw atm but should be part of U23 CK Naidu type events. Even Wasim Bashir played those tournaments. Wasim Bashir --- 1 of the faster Bashir??? --- his videos keeps popping up on sm just before every auction. is he with any team as net bowler or been on trails for them?? Why pick him if captain can't trust him ? siraj was called in for a second spell but akash was not called in for a second spell. in australia , akash may be bowling 18 to 20 overs in a day. india A v/s australia A , manav suthar who i rate very highly is not getting any over at all as pitches in australia do not support spinners at all. i still feel washington will suceed in australia as he has capability to bowl at 110k express bowling 1

MK55 Posted November 3, 2024 Posted November 3, 2024 (edited) Usually when we lose this badly, there’s some silver lining. This has got to be the lowest point from a pace bowling perspective. Siraj proving how moronic the selectors were in wasting time and not developing other bowlers. Mayank getting injured with stress fractures. Even when he came back, he looked messed up with run up change nonsense. Abject non sense and unacceptable from the coach to not give Harshit even a single game after so many months. Also wtf is Morkel even doing?? Can’t he see even notice or sort basic stuff such as run ups? Akash Deep is such a f downgrade over Shami and Umesh. Hes an outright trundler. Dont understand the hype. I understand to an extent as his first test showed a lot of promise. At least Siraj had a year or so where he bowled with more intensity. Im sad to say but Bumrah has declined in this series and his pace ain’t the same. Question is that is this reversible?? At least to some extent? Can he even bowl at some spells with the old ball cranking it up to 145-148k in Australia?? Edited November 7, 2024 by MK55

Before the injury in August 2019, he wasn't even Indian. He was a West Indian or an Australian. His balls zipped off the deck with extra bounce like he was a white guy or a black guy. Since the injury and return in January 2020, his genes have become contaminated and he has bowled liked a stereotypical Indian bowler - reliant on swing, full balls, and unable to obtain extra bounce and zip off the deck. Such contamination of genes is generally irreversible. devisreeprasadmahesh 1
tapandrun Posted November 4, 2024 Posted November 4, 2024 (edited) Saw some Aus vs Pak highlights, Aus pacer looks in good form, yes not as fast as they use to be but still good enough. Husnain (pak intnl)does not seem to have the kind of pace that yt video claimed to be hardy have touched 140 kmph. Its not looking good for Ind in bgt with Siraj being #2 pacer and Pradish being #3/4 bowler along with Struggling batting line-up Edited November 4, 2024 by tapandrun devisreeprasadmahesh 1

Mid level success has gone into Siraj's head and messes with it He's not working hard, taking things lightly, also to do with mediocre supply chain He knows longer the time pacers like Mukesh Avesh and Arshdeep are around, the better ,he's safe and secure Noone is there in the horizon after Bumrah and selectors are equally helping him Also, the new crop of pacers aren't interested in red ball labour they all want quick money which is what I have observed The ones who want to play are getting grounded and are left uncapped for dear IPL franchises Edited November 5, 2024 by Suhaan MK55, Mosher, express bowling and 2 others 5
express bowling Posted November 5, 2024 Author Posted November 5, 2024 In the 2nd innings, Akashdeep bowled a fastest of 141.4 k with lots of balls above 137 k. This is closer to his normal speeds. Picked up a wicket on this turning track too. Suhaan, Mosher, Lone Wolf and 4 others 2 5

Picked up a wicket on this turning track too. akash is definitely one of the good ones that we have. i agree he is not an express bowler like Mayank yadav and he is always below 144k and mostly under 140k. i kind of have faith that he will bowl 135 to 145k in australia. i mean to say he is bowling perfect Line & length and at a pace which is definitely not trundling - 131 to 141.5 k in india and that will be 136 to 146k in australia. siraj has slowed down and his swing skills also are deserting him but i just hope he gets his Skills back as Siraj can get back into form and if he does , he is dangerous. at this stage i would call Gautan very UNLUCKY- mayank, kuldeep sen, umraan , Hardik are unfit for tests and pacers like gurnoor brar and others have not yet proved that they are good enough. on indian pitches and even in australia against weaker batting line ups- mukesh is proving that he is in form. but i kind of trust GUATAM that he is honest and he will pick up good guys , yes he may not be able to ask rohit or virat not to play a TEST but he will definitely push them to perform express bowling 1

His pace comes from fast run and quick-arm action and looks like he has still not perfected his action where everything does comes naturally thats why there has always been peak and lows in speeds raging from 133 kmph --145+ kmph As some suggested he has reduced the run-up and arm speed has also reduced.
