To CT khel kyu nahi rha hai?

He has work load related injury, stress injury and not a fitness related one. Good fitness helps come back well after an injury.  If a bowler can bowl 150 overs in a test series taking most wickets, then certainly has good fitness levels. Fitness levels refers to bowling fitness and able to be effective.

Watched one over. Eden's build is like Nagarkoti. Thin wiry and not that tall. Skiddy pace with good outswingers.

That is not promising if he can not bat, apart frm injuries nagarkoti has that disadvantage that he was not that tall and if not bowling 145+kmph he was no special with no batting to support his case.

Nagarkoti still bowls 145. But he is too short though even Shami is almost same height.

No. Last time he was clocked was consistently 140. You are talking about Mavi who is 130s.

They go by history and eggsperience

The Indian cricket fraternity love and promote a boring brand of cricket. Tuk tuk stats padding batters .. medium pacers .. darter spinners.

Thankfully, most people who watch cricket  these days are not interested in the game of cricket but whether they are looking cool in their choice of players and matches they watch.

H Pandya has degraded massively in pace. He’s now a 120k bowler.
A bit slower than N Reddy but somewhat more effective on these slow pitches considering his control over his line/length and his willingness to bang the ball.
Although at that pace, the batters can just take him on if they want to.

Pandya is smart enough to understand his body can't take the load of 10 over bowling.

Hence he is just doing bare minimum and only give his max duing big games.

I have a question - What is M Shami these days?

5-9, 135k, 35 years, injury prone?

He has been terrific for a long time. But his time has come if he can’t maintain 140-147k

He isn't 100% fit, just that it's IPL season and everyone want to play.

If he continues bowling 120s, it will be extremely difficult for him to be able to bowl 140 and thereabouts in a big game.

He used to do that earlier too but back then his speeds were at least 133-135k in low intensity matches with him touching 140-144 in the big games.

Is he ever going to be fit? Got a more than 1 year break to recover, played multiple matches to get into peak fitness.

He was prematurely called in tbh...plus his body can't take matches after matches at this age.

Needs to be rested and rotated.
