If things click, he will be quick. If doesn't, he will vary. What is your assessment of Harshit's run up and action ?

Can't say he is there, however his quality is not limited to his pace. He looks like a genuinely good bowler, at whatever pace he bowls. He seems to have just the adequate pace, whether its 85mph or 80mph. Bowling 90mph or + is not my concern, but whichever bowler comes should have the X factor, the quality which divides an international bowler and a domestic bowler. He seems to have that.
Vk1 Posted January 28 Posted January 28 (edited) saala Bishnoi hasn't improved even one bit since his debut. No accuracy, no novelty just firing googlies that's all. Teams across the world are able to play the wrist spinners much better than 3/4 years ago. Edited January 28 by Vk1

These guys under pressure go back to their usual self/stock deliveries(here googly betting too predictable) He was bowling leg spinners as well in recent SMAT and VHT Vk1, bouncers, Mosher and 1 other 4

Yes for genuine quicks by 19 yrs they need to be able to touch early 140 kmph. by 22-23 most the pace that is to be gained naturally is already gained after that it strength and conditioning express bowling 1

I clearly mentioned that he may not be genuine fast, but he seems to have adequate pace that complements his bowling quality. Edited January 28 by Rightarmfast

tapandrun Posted January 28 Posted January 28 (edited) Though can not judge player every single game. But issue with Chahar, Bishnoi, etc is the theory behind the like for like replacements. This is downgrade model by itself. Secondly there is no incentive to the back-up players. They will only play vs b/c level teams and will only play when the main player is not playing playing or is unavailable. They do not need to out-perform or even they do they will be dropped or benched once the main player comes-in, there is no push to graduate to main team, they keep their place in 30-35 players in the rotation ...they know they will play only when the main player is resting. What is the point to improve. Edited January 28 by tapandrun

There are not many bowlers in Ind who could bat specially hitting 4/6 in t20 game. Everyone is some version of jadeja :: Axar, kurnal, Shahbaz. Then there is Vipraj who is leg-spinner can hit few but still to see if he can do it at intnl level or not. This season Anukul(jknd) has show hitting and bating capability but he has not even played much of ipl games raki05 1

This season, he got many opportunities, sad to say he hasn't took advantage of even one. Mavi took 7 wkts and he is just stuck with one. He's still 25, an year or two at max..and people will forget about him completely if he's not serious enough. express bowling 1
