BHUVnesh- INDIA's new All Rounder....

I strongly beleive that BHuvi is now ready ready to bat as a bowling allrounder and INDIA should play 3 Pacers and Bhuvi and Possibly Bhuvi could bat after Jadeja or ASHWIN. india need 3 pacers and BHuvi and Jaddu or ashwin to win..India need a 5 ball attack and India needs to count in Bhuvi as an all rounder bcos he genuinely is .. he bats well..and he is batting very well now. AShwin is a proper batsman probably a better batsman than DHONI and Jaddu and i guess Bhuvi has the capability to bat as good as jadeja....if jaddu can be considered as an all rounder and Bhuvi shud also be considered. how many of u can think of bhuvi as an allrounder, bcos Binnny is a Batsman who can trundle but not a test bowler for sure so not worth an interenational TEST Bowler.

OP you have it ALL WRONG!. I made a similar thread but never projected him as an allrounder. He should bat at 8 because he is capable and we can rely on him to stick around IF NEEDED. We need 4-5 bowlers and may aswell play kumar at 8 to accomodate 4 genuine seamers at lords. Combo would be ashwin, kumar, pankaj/aaron, ishant and shami But dont label him an allrounder. He is just a bowler who can bat and thats it.

He is an allrounder, but will play in the team for his bowling alone. With him and Ashwin/Sir, India can play 5 bowlers without fear. 3 pacers( one of them cant be Binny) + bhuv+ ash/jad + 6 batters ( Dhoni is dodgy though and one of them cant be Binny). Its less than ideal but the best there is.

I would also back him as an all-rounder and develop him . if he is to play test cricket in India he has to develop his batting.

Bhuvi has a sound batsmen like defensive technique Which could grow him as a batsman in tests...I don't expect him To do well in odi and t 20 as he is not a stroke full batsman. I never expected him to get 5 wickets but he did....kinda exceeded expectations...I beleive he wud get 2 or max 4wickets in this test....20 wickets will be challenging.

Bhuvi is an all rounder like Hilfenhaus, Kulasekara. Not like Jimmy Neesham, Stuart Broad, Ashwin. Infact Ashwin is better than Broad. So we shouldn't even treat him as an all rounder regardless of these 2 fifties.

We are loosely using the term all rounder these days. All rounder is someone who almost qualifies purely as a batsman or a bowler. Over the last few years there are so many tailenders batting like top order from time to time. We cannot brand them everyone as all rounder. Ashwin may be called as one as he bats like a top order. But not a full fledged one. Even for Tamilnadu he comes at no.8. So forcing him to no.6 for India doesn't make any sense.

I'd bring in aaron too as he is 85-90mph and can cause some serious problems for the english. Pankaj and pandey should get later games. Aaron is also a smart tailender.

I really wish we had Umesh in the squad :(( He could've replaced Ishant.BK,Umesh with the new ball.Shami with the old ball & Aaron as the 1st change.Ashwin is my lone spinner who can bat like a top order batsman,hold one end up & hopefully pick some wickets too.We've to bear with Jadeja,Binny & Ishant instead :giggle:
