Vijay played impeccably well against short stuffs. England in contrast looked like deer caught in headlights against short stuffs both against INdia and Srilanka.

I just want to see MJ bowling to Broad again...dead set he will want the captain to declare before he bats! Cummins is bowling quicker than he was when he was 17 now. I actually do some work for Cricket NSW, they have clocked him in the high 150's. Has a very strong and sound action now.

I think it has got to do with the trigger movement even before the ball is released

when barbie thinks it will be a abouncer , he will move towards off to come inside the line.. did the same thing today also

ishant is fairly tall with normal high action so its not surprising his bouncers were difficult but what i do not understand is why does he not bowl them more ?

usually he would just put the ball. Probably he put in a bit more effort for a change. Someone like Jessie Ryder or McCullum or Faulkner would whack him into the stands. I still think thsi England sid is abysmal against short balls. Cook is a good player of short stuffs. So is Bell. both have others ways to get out . KP is another. But even KP was trapped by Australia by stationing a twp close in fielders on the onsiide. Rest of the guys have very iffy technique.
