Now before people think I am going all raj Thackeray,no state would allow this....tell me if I am wrong...then again srilanka had tony Grieg as their ambassador so never say never

The jury is out on how many Muslims actually care for this sort of tokenism, but the intent of TRS in naming Sania Mirza as the brand ambassador is open to scrutiny. I don't believe that tokenism works any more for Muslims than it does for others. That Muslims are more likely to endorse a general ( ie non religious) product because the brand ambassador is a Muslim, I find that very difficult to believe. If this assertion were true, we would have come across such strategies by ad agencies/ marketing agencies. I haven't heard or read of any such thing. Just thinking out aloud. Bottom line, naming Sania Mirza as a brand ambassador is hardly appeasement.

Marrying an Australian or American is not the same thing as marrying a Paki-We don't have wars with these countries
