You can get injured during practice sessions as well. Yuvraj injured his knees in a practice session playing kho-kho. Manoj Tiwary his shoulder in BD just before his debut. Rohit got injuredjust before his test debut against SA at Nagpur.

He might have been injured in,practice session before or during matches. Players who arent playing usually practice after the day's play.
