He bowled well. In first 2 spells going really well, bowled WELL 1st spell got a wicket, was bowling high 80s, then mysteriously took off after only 3 overs. Brought back for another spell, in that over went for 3 and bowled high 80s by end of the over (hitting his straps), then taken off after that 1 good over!!! So bowled well but that was ass holes plan, if bowl well take him off, if bowl badly take him off. 3 spells of one over and you wonder why started to lose his mojo. Dhoni is a cancer. Are fans that blind to his sick games!

He has averaged 42 and his economy is 6+ after playing 32 ODIs. This is not the first time he has bowled poorly. How many teams would give chances to bowlers who have such poor figures in international cricket ?

Very poor figures. Aaoron is a better bet. But Dhoni is not exactly helping the cause. When you pick him you should try to use him as well as possible. It doesn't look like Dhoni backs him fully. He removes him from the attack when he goes through a good spell. He is a good test match prospect. Should have played there . They switched Aaron and Umesh. Ideally both should have played tests. Aaron in one dayers . I kinda predicted how he would use Umesh. He did exactly that much like how he used STuart Binny.

LMAO, when the backing happens BEFORE the player plays his first match and the like/dislike continues despite both set of players performing the same, you have to worry. When the backing coincidentally happens with players from the same club team or signed to his business partner, you have to worry. When the backing and not backing go so over the top that most people call it out, you have to worry

Funny how us yadav fans get blasted. It's not like we are biased, in the match thread i mentioned whenever he was wide or too full. But we care about our genuine fast bowlers! I want the guy to have a good career and do well. He is being robbed of that opportunity and isn't enjoying his cricket. Honestly feel bad for the guy. So much better than what dhoni makes him look like. Look at shami, has team's confidence and now death bowling is way better. Its about backing players. Raina and kohli were excellent as this when captain. Dhoni is a guy who in reality demands perfection but is far from it himself - stupid shot and got out, backed and supported jadeja after his selfish knock, content with losing intl matches going by his reactions compared to csk games. Yes, I agree. He should have been selected for tests. In fact, he got a 5 wicket haul in Australia in a 4 day game recently and couldnt do much in One day games. But they selected him for the wrong format. .

He did not play one day games in Australia but selected for one day and not tests where he can be of better use.

Only in india will a bowler averaging 40+ with ER 6+ get so much support. To those blaming dhoni take a look at his FC & list A ER he gets pummeled in domestics as well. Instead why why dhawal dropped who did very well in list A games in aus. Yadav has played 30+ games while dhawal got just 1. This is utter BS.
