Tried to break rule by bringing outside food. Got a No go. what about the people who made all arrangements how much pissed they must be. Now they have to make again in a hotel. Dhoni happy doesn't mean everyone is.

Majority people only on ICF ,where anything Dhoni does is wrong, :giggle:. Cant the hotel allow the cricket team to have home-cooked meals. You cannot compare the cricket team with normal customers. Most of them are away from home for a month, and i dont see anything wrong in eating home cooked meal. Anyways its loss of business for ITC and i dont think BCCI will book this hotel in future tournaments.

First if all the hotel DID allow home cooked food in their rooms, but Dhoni insisted on using the board room for outside food which they refused Secondly, the hotel is well within their rights. Although they can and do make accommodation for special customers they still have rights to refuse And finally, you think others are blaming Dhoni for nothing while you completely ignore the time, effort and money involved by security and local police who had to run around at the beck of the Indian captain. They spent so much time in making this hotel secure. Then they had to rush to the other hotel and make all the arrangements at short notice. You really believe the ego of one person is so important?

indian Hospitality industry really sucks.. even in small hotels like A2B , if we ask vegetable curry instead of pickles , many servers wont give :mad: glad that dhoni took a stand :proud: but its shocking to hear that CSK booked 180 rooms .. 180 * 5K = 1 crore per day app for hotel alone.. for a 2 week tournament we might spend 50 crores including all the expenses :woot:

Who the hell thinks hotel rooms are only 5k? I stayed at Taj Aghora in Goa last year during off season and it was still 25k per day
