Binny in place of Rayudu for WC?

I have been strongly against the including of Binny in the international team,however do you think he would be a better fir in the ODI team as compared to Hackudu? Not to mention Rayudu's bowling is diabolical

I cant believe a fluky bowling spell and we have ppl willing to forgo years and years of consistant domestic performance for a guy who if not for his dad wouldnt have even made it to India A. you guys think srini - dhoni will destroy india cricket but are blind to this rampant nepotism

Rayudu will be a disaster in World Cup if picked due to his rate of scoring. He will build pressure on his partner too and give opposition bowlers more confidence in middle overs and game will be taken away. Players at 4 in ODI's these days have to be scoring quick. This is not the 1970's.

Has to be Rohit at 4 cause Rahane is great opener. Rohit does not score quickly right away which is not ideal at 4 but then again who else comes in? There is no other option at 4 other than Rayudu compared with whom Rohit is better.

Rayadu has the reputation for being better batsmen in away conditions than at home Also had an excellent Nzl A tour sometime back Not fully convinced but no need to hastily discard him . Better to have him as back up bat for world cup most options mentioned

No one's written him off in longer format but is there any succesful ODI team in the modern game with a batsman in a key position of Number 4 having the strike rate he does? No. Middle overs, opposition gain confidence, more pressure on partner as well. Good bat or not in 21st century you can't have a strike rate of 70.

SR at 70odd won't be that much of a problem is Aus as in India We could afford couple of consolidaters like Rahane ,Rohit /Rayadu in Aus when we have the likes of Dhawan Kohlu Raina Dhoni Its not like we have another Yuvi or Dhoni waiting in the wings

If hes striking at 70 in Indian pitches,it'll be even tougher in Aus.he'll get stuck Jadhav could have been tried but now its too late

His SR is mid 80s in India For a stop gap batsman is his record is damn good ave 40.More so considering he played most of them away from Asia He got 2 chances in England and got 50 both times.Had a very good debut series in Zimbabwe He may not be world class but definitely performed well enough in most chances he has got. Also has the performance in A series to back up overseas credentials .

yah only his SR seems to be a problem.If he can rotate strike well he can be good.
