He does not have the technique to survive overseas . I would take Ojha over him I have more hopes of Saha surviving overseas than Ojha. Saha bats on green tracks at Eden and has done well.

We have to get away from the mentality of a team with two-three guys over 30 and otherwise made up of super-star talent 20-25 year olds. That is NOT how the modern game works and the modern game is accelerating towards a more nuanced approach. They may be in their 30s. but they are NOT in their late 30s. They are in their early 30s. If they can hit the ground running or develop into test level over the next summer, they'd still be both <33 and could net us 3-4 years of very good service and best case scenario of 4-5 years of service. 3-4 years of a golden period is enough for us to play everywhere and climb to #1.

For example, Cook is monotonous but very effective in test arena My judgment was based on It was how many times you swing the bat and mis hit it. Or how much the bowlers are controlling the game. In the limited samples it was very evident. Ojha looked better than Binny, and Rohit during that game. I think Saha will get selected because of Dada and Dalmiya but Ojha is better choice.

A fantastic opportunity to score plenty of runs in this Test (he had played himself in), and in both innings, he acted like he is legendary sehwag already!? (*similar to sehwag's disdain for spinners. Sehwag was a legend, and even for that - he pushed it too far sometimes. N.Ojha is a nobody, and should have realized that himself...I worry if this is the "IPL is there, who cares abt a spot in the TEST-11 ?" attitude )
