Needs to stop being self arrogant and only come back when he is 100%. Likely Australian team 1. Warner 2. Rogers 3. Watson (grr I hate it) 4. Smith (vc) 5. White or Joe Burns (QLD) 6. Marsh 7. Haddin (will be fit) CAPT. 8. Johnson 9. Harris 10. Hazelwood 11. Lyon 12th White/Joe Burns That would be my best guess. Harris is back, Smith goes to 4. White or Burns goes at 5. Sean Marsh the wildcard but I'd rather play those two and they are highly rated internally. White is not part of thier test plans i guess. Also watson and and marsh both in same eleven does not make sense. Anyways nothing great about that batting order. We can compete for sure.

I agree on Watson/Marsh but I'm realistic. Watson for whatever goodness knows reason is an automatic selection.

He just has 4 hundreds which is very poor as no 3 or as an opener after 50 tests.

The question is do we have a number 3 out there- maybe Jake Doran in 2 years (he is 17 and is seen as the next REALLY big thing in Australian cricket). Joe Burns has scored the majority of his runs opening. Callum Ferguson is inconsistent and just another Doolan.

I have rarely seen Australia include especially batsmen under 20 in their test squads....correct me if I am wrong but how often has that happened in the last 2 decades?

He can only play 6 games this year, and for obvious reasons they are waiting till the tests start so he can come in and bat 3 for NSW.

Nope, actually very good against spin, has done some work (or he might be going to) in sub continental conditions. Pretty sure as I know him quite well, he has just got back from that part of the world having being working on his slow bowling playing ability. Very quick on his feet, uses his feet well.
