nevada Posted November 28, 2014 Posted November 28, 2014 This is just so sickening, no other way to describe it.
littlemaster1982 Posted November 28, 2014 Posted November 28, 2014 Haven't seen him play, but the fact that he died like this is yet to sink in. Rest in Peace, Phillip!
putrevus Posted November 28, 2014 Posted November 28, 2014 I still cannot fathom this news, Raman Lamba did not wear helmet it was tragic yet understandable but Phil was wearing one this was not supposed to happen. Noone can even fathom the agony of that bowler, hope he recovers from this shock and plays again.
CommonMan Posted November 28, 2014 Posted November 28, 2014 I have never felt so sickening.. I dont even know him and I dont remember watching any of his innings. The only connect is cricket. I still cant stop thinking of him :((

vvvslaxman Posted November 28, 2014 Posted November 28, 2014 Have you guys ever been hit. I took a full blooded sweep shot on my temple at forward short leg. It was years back. I felt woozy for a while.
Old guy Posted November 28, 2014 Posted November 28, 2014 Have you guys ever been hit. I took a full blooded sweep shot on my temple at forward short leg. It was years back. I felt woozy for a while. I broke my finger in school but ball still went for boundary but not only finger broke but also nail it became blue and still it's little odd Ball is very hard and I feel for players like pujara who take full blooded sweep shots on body and imo it's more dangerous than facing fast bowling
vvvslaxman Posted November 28, 2014 Posted November 28, 2014 I broke my finger in school but ball still went for boundary but not only finger broke but also nail it became blue and still it's little odd Ball is very hard and I feel for players like pujara who take full blooded sweep shots on body and imo it's more dangerous than facing fast bowling Tell me about it. At school level i was shaked up for a minute or two. But when you are young you don't worry about consequences and you try to push on
Old guy Posted November 28, 2014 Posted November 28, 2014 Tell me about it. At school level i was shaked up for a minute or two. But when you are young you don't worry about consequences and you try to push on You do not even wear anything ...looking back I am thankful no one got hurt as even tennis ball can injure you badly if hit on face that close ...sigh
