Dude has 1000+ runs in 7 tests this year,2 of them in UAE,with 6 centuries. Can we stop him?Or will he get 8 tons in 8 innings against this popgun attack?

try to use his fragility of not moving his feet early on and try to get get some edges to slips using the natural angle. Round the wicket strategy wont work, it is very defensive.

Bowl on off stump, 4th stump line and around fuller length without giving width or bowling on legs. He will play shots so he will give chances. This pitch is dead as a dodo, so he was able to put away even the good deliveries to boundaries. Pitches in other games will offer lot more to seamers.

It's all about consistent lines... Don't give him width, keep it tight for 4-5 overs.... He gets easily frustrated and plays a false stroke

Top of his game currently, Bhuvi did well against him but now that he is back in India, they will have to come up with a plan but these douches rarely stick to a plan.

Even SA at home weren't able to tame him. He is a brute like Sehwag. His scoring rate puts so much pressure on the bowlers that they end up loosing their rhythm and serving up dollies.:winky:

Time will stop him.... He is just in the type of form where everything he touches becomes gold..... Soon enough he will be battling for survival like alistair Cook (who was at one point being considered as someone who would break Sachin's record etc). This happens to almost every cricketer... Our bowlers would do well to stay disciplined and not leak runs with easy deliveries.

IMHO the best bowlers against Warner would be Bhuvi and Ashwin (cos he is lefty). Warner is going to whack everyone but these 2 have the highest odds of picking his wicket.

Honestly bowl consistent length, make him force a boundary. Now he will sometimes as he is just that good a batsman, but keep hitting the top of off. Also and I don't know whether there is one in the squad, but left arm quicks trouble him.
