They do not have the simple sense to know that if Hinduism can take self criticism and other religions cannot, it makes Hindusim stronger and the better religion 2) These same people live in the west where the MAJORITY religion is mocked all the time but often the other religions are treated with Kid gloves. For example, South Park constantly making fun of Christianity and Jesus, yet Comedy Central censured out the episode about Mohammed and Comedy central had never shown re-runs of those episodes again Seriously are less tolerant religions like Islam the benchmark of these people? Surely it shows the greatness of Hinduism that it allows itself to be criticized when others do not. Do you want Hinduism to be a carbon copy of the religions you hate?

If you cut all negative feedback you will end up like pakistan, where one of their christian ministers was killed for opposing a crazy blasphemy law and even after he was killed nobody dare stand up to the crazyness.

OP was about how minorities have special rights and majority gets to be rubbed the wrong way. Censor board should be lenient to all, or censure all. There are peaceful ways such as these to express your opinion and one can use them to voice their displeasure about any piece of literature or art. Banning, editing, throttling freedom is not the way.
