His excellent record in run chases is also an indication of that. I am sure he won't be the perfect captain right away but he is someone who is ready to learn' date=' and correct his mistakes. So can't tell much from that. Talking about RCB, I would not put any value on T20 captaincy while discussing test cricket. Kohli is an intriguing character and I am quite interested to see how he goes about it. With the situation we are in now, I don't mind taking that risk.

Not with these clown bowlers. Is virat really going to declare at the end of the fourth day (on the third innings of the match) with a lead of 320? Even when chasing 350 on the last day, at some point he may become hesitant when he realizes his lower order contributes zero, and more specialist batting support is needed beyond himself, Vijay and Rahane.
