I was reading what WACA curator says and it seems he is one of the guys who likes the ball thudding into wicket keeper gloves and is intending to make the wicket faster and even more fast. what I mean WACA is a risk ..on any day it cud turn out into a real fast track and I remember binny mohit and bhuvi making india win after scoring some 150 runs only against a minnow side... and binny got 6 wickets...so binny knows how to utilize such a track I strongly recommend that Binny should play ahead of a spinner in waca

Bhuvi is a very skilled bowler specially on helpful tracks like WACA... Binny also has got 6 wickets in one innings and if they cant be played ahead of Jaddu on a fast track like WACA - then why are they in 15?? waca - all team are playing just 1 spinner and 3 pacers and one medium pace all rounder....I don't think any team is playing 2 genuine spinners on a WACA Pitch.

indian pacers were spot on with their lines against uae,just need to bowl a bit full,in the good length area(not too full),windies will struggle against our pace,all our 3 bowlers bowl 138+ on avg

Jadeja can bat a little higher to help him to get in to his batting groove. May be at 4 because that has been one of the flexible positions in the line up with Raina and Rahane coming in depending upon the situation .... Rest Ashwin, Yadav and Shami to pick out the best amongst the rest for the KO. Binny can only take the place of Mohit and that's risky cos his death bowling is unproven. Binny can be played over Jaddu but I think 3 pacers + 2 spinners is a must for us. It works for us.

Agree, but this is a long tournament and Ind still has 2 games to go .... I understand your sentiments but this is not a KO and as I said still two games to go in group stages. We need our reserves in good form too (well prepared) :nice:

long tournament,but plenty of rest in between.You should be fit enough to play a game a week at this level.

No doubt so far our bowlers has bowled extremely well to contain the opposing teams which includes SA also.If they continue to bowl like this then there is no doubt that windies will be easy pray for us.Let us hope that they beat the Windies team comprehensively

It would not be ideal if for some reason Ind would have to play someone who has been out of action for a long period (this is a long tourney) in the KO .... I have used the word "rest" to imply "not play" and not in its literal sense :winky:
