Just need good and persistant selections

It would have been travesty like it was in 1992 that a fluky team reached semis.I wanted pakistan to win last night but other than Riyaz they just don't have anyone who is good.

They had an escape against England due to the rain rule, but also got screwed by it against South Africa. They played excellent cricket in the latter half of the tournament - Akram and Mushtaq Ahmed were brilliant and they moulded their batting to prevent top order collapses. Overall, New Zealand and Pakistan were the best teams on form in the tournament. New Zealand got unlucky by losing Martin Crowe at a crucial stage. But by that measure, Pakistan were also unlucky to have Waqar out injured for the entire tournament.
coffee_rules Posted March 20, 2015 Posted March 20, 2015 Pak, in 2015, proved they were no pushovers, like they showed in the first 2 games. Got better of SA and competed with Aus for 20 overs or so. Batting failures were all through the tournment. I think they earned some decent respect on the way out. Another Mauka lost. No Ahahahahaha moment for me. There were no collapses, of course dropped catches by Pak fielders makes you laugh. Shows they give importance to sundry issues like captaincy, Afridi, Younis Khan, Not Batting and not for Fielding.

Against India, WI and SA, they scored 224, 160 and 222. Even against Zim, they managed only 235. It would have been a travesty to see them in Semis as other teams are far better. They dont deserve to be in top 4.

You lost all tests, all odis and the t20 last time in Australia :giggle: Our tri series was a warm up really and look how many we won now on Aussie soil when it matters :two_thumbs_up: Then take into account as you came into world cup you lost in ODIs in UAE to NZ, Aussies and also lost to Lungans in asian conditions. Then your ODIs in NZ and actual world cup performance where you only got above 250 once despite being so cautious and test like :giggle: Yet you laugh at Indians, the defending champions, such Paki logic needs this >>> :hatsoff:

But watching Misbah's face and that incredible bowling effort from Wahab.... Not getting that happy feeling... I feel like have watched a tragic movie where the anti hero dies revealing some emotional story at the end.
