I have soft corner for both teams. Both teams likable. Both teams never made a final. Very very tight call. If SA can shed their "choking mentality" they can win a world cup anywhere in the world. NZ can win a world cup only down under nowhere else.

I would support South Africa. If India or Australia reach the finals, I don't see New Zealand beating them (even though Australia was beaten by New Zealand recently). South Africa can actually win the world cup.

neutral .... NZ has done brilliantly in this tourney, while SA has been a consistent performer .... finally, one of them will make it to its first WC final!
