Yadav was an integral part of the Kolkata Knight Riders team that went on to become the champions for the second time in the Indian Premier League last year. tldr; Yadav doesn't stop short of sharing the influence his skipper Gautam Gambhir has on him and things he has learnt from the Indian skipper Mahendra Singh Dhoni. Giving credit to both of them, Yadav addded, "When it comes to calmness, I look up to our captain Gautam Gambhir. Whenever he has been under pressure, he has always come up with stellar performances. He is the one who I have been watching over the last year. "He takes his time at the start of the innings while batting but in the end he makes it count and makes sure that the team is on the positive side. Also, Gambhir is someone who is never satisfied with his performance. He always wants more, which is something I am trying to learn from him. "Secondly I look up to MS Dhoni. Whenever he has won games for India or the Chennai Super Kings, he has been very calm. These are two individuals I look up to when it comes to calmness. They both are very quiet. They talk to themselves and they know they are going to get the job done for their team. Suryakumar Yadav needs to get into T20 squad or ODI squad now, not after 5 years!! So giving good statements about Dhoni is the least he could do, Ishant Sharma is ready to jump from 24th floor lol Anybody who has gone against Dhoni or got in his bad books has not survived long, so buttering is the right process to go unless you have your Daddy as Indian team selector :finger:
