Cricket_Hacker Posted May 4, 2015 Posted May 4, 2015 Jadeja is officially useless now, should be booted out of Indian team
maniac Posted May 4, 2015 Posted May 4, 2015 great days for CSK when your replacement for your "star Allrounder" is Negi :two_thumbs_up:
vipin Posted May 4, 2015 Posted May 4, 2015 But i am really wondering what has happened to Jadeja. He was the world No. 1 ranked bowler just an year ago.
flamy Posted May 4, 2015 Posted May 4, 2015 He doesn't even get his full quota bowling now. Hope this is end of this guy in Indian team.
jalebi_bhai Posted May 4, 2015 Posted May 4, 2015 But i am really wondering what has happened to Jadeja. He was the world No. 1 ranked bowler just an year ago. He struck a purple patch I guess. I mean as a spinner, he can barely control the spin he gives to a ball (I remember Warne pointing this out). His batting has always been so-so with the occasional useful inning.
Cricket_Hacker Posted May 8, 2015 Author Posted May 8, 2015 definitely better batsman than Ravindra "3 triple centuries" Jadeja
Texan Posted May 8, 2015 Posted May 8, 2015 At the moment I would say Jadeja is actually third in the pecking order of left-arm spinner/lower order slogger hopefuls: 1. Pawan Negi 2. Axar Patel 3. Ravindra Jadeja Perhaps, if there is another one I didn't think of, he might get pushed further down.

Texan Posted May 8, 2015 Posted May 8, 2015 Hooda Axar is just as useless as Jadeja so far Hooda is an off spinner.
BeautifulGame Posted May 8, 2015 Posted May 8, 2015 Hooda is an off spinner. K I thought u were referring to spin/ low order hitting ARs .
Texan Posted May 8, 2015 Posted May 8, 2015 K I thought u were referring to spin/ low order hitting ARs . Hooda could still make sense as primarily a lower middle order batsman and part time bowler (like Raina does). But we already have many of these. Rohit Sharma also bowls part time off spin. With Ashwin almost a certainty in the team, there is perhaps a spot open for either a left arm spinner or a leg spinner. Personally, I would prefer to have 3 spinners - Ashwin, Negi and Mishra for matches in India.
flamy Posted May 8, 2015 Posted May 8, 2015 Negi is cleaner hitter than both Axar and Jadeja I haven't seen his bowling yet.
velu Posted May 8, 2015 Posted May 8, 2015 Negi is cleaner hitter than both Axar and Jadeja I haven't seen his bowling yet. :banghead:
Laaloo Posted May 8, 2015 Posted May 8, 2015 Negi is cleaner hitter than both Axar and Jadeja I haven't seen his bowling yet. :--D
express bowling Posted May 8, 2015 Posted May 8, 2015 Negi's death over slogging is pretty awesome. He was hitting faster bowlers too. He is using Gayle like technique...by moving his feet away , taking an open body position and then swinging the bat. His bowling looks very ordinary though. He gets very little turn and just puts the ball gently there.
maniac Posted May 9, 2015 Posted May 9, 2015 Hack and a poor bowler....Will do well in a couple of IPL's before fading out
