Most of the death cause by heat waves, extreme cold, rains (causing land slides) take toll on citizens who are homeless. Isn't there any support to them by government at least when the climatic conditions are adverse ? These deaths can be surely saved imo.

Govt should make a rule that nobody should be made to work during peak day time (12 noon to 3 PM). Also enforce regulations that the companies put up facilities for shade, rest and regular hydration during other times.

In India people die because of excess heat, excess cold, rain and what not. :(( We as a society have failed the victims.

What is the demographics on this? All labourers?
Must be majority old people and homeless ... Here in UK if the temperature goes over 27 degrees they announce that a heat wave is on so people should not travel much outside and keep themselves hydrated and what not :--D Just imagine how it would be at 45 plus degrees :((

This is so sad to hear. I am assuming that most of the people dead must be unskilled workers who need to work outside. So sad for their families

Sad to hear.. That's why players were finding it difficult to play in HYD.
I don't think the players faced the actual heat wave. The unexpected rains cooled down the temperatures for a week or so. Moreover its the small towns that are relatively hotter than Hyderabad. Sent from my LG-D802 using Tapatalk

Warner expressed that despite the fact that they won a lot matches in HYD,the temp was not suiting him esp after playing in moderate conditions like Vizag. Kholi faced similar problems he faced in mohali(dizziness, headaches) but due to the extensive heat this time.
