Pagalpanti Posted August 31, 2015 Posted August 31, 2015 Ishant took 6 years. Since 2014 he's come into his own. Yadav ko aye abhi toh sirf 3 saal hue. You want us to go back to Vinnie Kumar, Mithun? India need to make Yadav a test specialist and ask him to focus on controlling his line+length. He'll be a dangerous bowler once he gets control.

Ishant never leaked so many runs.

What are u on about ? Ishant has always been good on helpful wickets . Ripped apart WI in similar wkts in 2011 when he got similar conditions

Ishant never leaked so many runs. It is atrocious and it was frustrating to see him release all the pressure Ishant is creating. But we don't have a fast bowling culture in India. Like Ishant, we can only hope he develops while being in the squad. Shami will replace him once fit. Until them team management need to try out him and Aaron.
Pagalpanti Posted August 31, 2015 Posted August 31, 2015 What are u on about ? Ishant has always been good on helpful wickets . Ripped apart WI in similar wkts in 2011 when he got similar conditions Ishant has about 1-2 good spells every season, only since 2014 have I seen him perform consistently barring the Aus tour.
Lannister Posted August 31, 2015 Posted August 31, 2015 He has all the qualities required to become a successful bowler, except for the brain.
express bowling Posted August 31, 2015 Posted August 31, 2015 Umesh is a slow learner. Not particularly bright. That is his problem. He still does not know what areas to bowl at. How long will he take to learn, that is the question. He needs to practice extra hard with the bowling coach. Aaron, on the other hand, is not stupid at all. He perhaps does not practice enough because he is scared of getting injured again if he over-exerts.
BeautifulGame Posted August 31, 2015 Posted August 31, 2015 Ishant has about 1-2 good spells every season' date=' only since 2014 have I seen him perform consistently barring the Aus tour.[/quote'] Because he mostly got helpful wickets in those overseas tours .Even there when he encountered flat wkts he struggled 2nd inn Joberg , 2nd inngs Wellington and the Aus tour .

He is still a rookie bowler because of all the months and years that he has missed due to injury. He had to change his action too and hasn't got fully used to that. Just read one of his interviews and you will know what I am saying. Generally, he talks logically. Umesh and Ishant, on the other hand, are not particularly bright.
G_B_ Posted August 31, 2015 Posted August 31, 2015 this guy is a moran. gift wrapped pitch and new ball... sprays it all over. drop both him and aaron
maniac Posted August 31, 2015 Posted August 31, 2015 this guy is a moran. gift wrapped pitch and new ball... sprays it all over. drop both him and aaron So you want the magical combo of Bhuvi and Binny bowling in Tandem :two_thumbs_up: Aaron and Yadav may be expensive but they do create pressure from which Ishant is clearly benefitting....having 2 dibbly dobbly bowlers will kill that guy again. Having said that Bhuvi has potential but is too slow for my liking

rkt.india Posted August 31, 2015 Posted August 31, 2015 I pity when I see these guys wasting such precious talents they have. Seen it all. Its a long list now. Munaf, Sreesanth, RP. Add Yadav and Aaron to it.

MCcricket Posted August 31, 2015 Posted August 31, 2015 Every ball the Bowler is about to deliver he should have a long term goal n a short term ie how he plans his over, Umesh just doesn't have it and also strays too often, he needs to spend time with a world class Bowler n get the mental side of his game sorted
