Bhuvi is by far the better bowler. Probably a better batsman too. So, why can't we play him ahead of Binny in the team? 1. Pujara 2. Rahul 3. Rahane 4. Kohli 5. Rohit 6. Naman 7. Ashwin 8. Bhuvi 9. Mishra 10. Yadav 11. Ishant

yup.....i would like to go with Bhuvi for Binny especially after seeing his performance in Zimbabwe... He will definitely get you a wicket or 2 with new ball and will keep the things simple in the middle overs.. For the fifth bowler, he will suffice.... But he needs to pull up his socks while batting....If he shows same intensity as in England with Bat, he can be more than handful

BK isnt the better batsman.
On paper, it could be argued that Binny is a better bat based on his FC record. But BK has shown more tenacity and better technique. He got runs in England when our entire top order was struggling. Binny's batting has just been a joke so far. By the way, on paper: Ravindra Jadeja's FC batting average > Shikhar Dhawan's FC batting average.

Binny is definitely a joker batsman. Would prefer BK to him as well, although BK's intensity tends to drop quite quickly.

Not really. BK will struggle against Hearth and Kaushal. All tailenders do against turning ball. Binny also got runs in England, you forgot that. Even Shami got runs in England but batting with old ball when bowlers are tired is different than with the new ball. Jadeja also got runs in England in the match that we won at Lords.

I think Ashwin is a better batsman. He scores 100's in SC. If Binny is in squad Ashwin is at 8. If Binny goes out Ashwin moves to 7. And Bhuvi at 8 is good. His record of 26 average with 3 50's is good. For the one game play Bhuvi but rather have someone else. I prefer Jaddu in Asia.

Even on the fairly flat P Sara, he was pretty ordinary. Wouldn't hurt to give BK a chance.. provided he is fully recovered from injury, and can again bowl at his usual pace (mid 120s).

Definitely. I don't like bits and pieces cricketers in tests. And bits and pieces cricketers are not all rounders.
I don't think we have luxury of fully fledged allrounders although I do belueve BK warrants selection ahead of Bunny.

Yep Bhuvi for Binny only provided Bhuvi shows more skills with the bat from what I have seen,Binny is the better bat but Bhuvi is leagues ahead of him as a bowler. So I think we need a batting allrounder(If we can call Binny that ) for now instead of a bowling allrounder

picking binny means picking 4.5 bowlers and picking bhuvi means picking 5 bowlers- binny is a far better batsman than bhuvi... if bhuvi is picked - it is nearly assured that he would take a wicket with the new ball where as he wud be average with the old ball but Yes he cud offer some 20 to 30 runs with the Bat. where as Binny cud even score a 100....

:hysterical::hysterical::hysterical:.....He is not that good...max I can see is a 50-60 runs on a good day but I agree better bat than Bhuvi

It makes cricketing sense to pick a proper bowling allrounder like BK over a bits-and-pieces cricketer like Binny.
Fully fit BK is definitely closer to proper bowling allrounder than Binns.
