Rohit is domestic cricket' date= IPL and warm up bully. I hope he proves me wrong. But if he doesn't do anything special in this WC then its time to try and test other players like Mandip Singh, Rahane.

How much time does he need? There are others also waiting for their chance. Remember Kaif? he also had the temperament but didnt learn from his mistakes and now he is forgotten. Same will happen to Rohit if he doesn't play some match winning knocks in international matches.

If we are talking t20is Rohit has been good for India. in 2007 He scored the match winning 50 in a must win vs south africa and scored a crucial 30 runs in the final vs Pakistan. In 2009 t20 wc he wasnt very good but he was playing as emergency opener. In 2010 he only played 2 inning one of which was a classy 70 vs australia after out bowlers got hammered and our batting collapsed.

I would not get too excited, t was a "O.K" innings at best. About 25 balls into his innings, he was only scoring at a SR of 100, which does not make sense when you are only 2 down. Often time, it feels like there's a disconnect b/w Rohit Sharma's sense of urgency and overall urgency of the innings.

Still not the right format for Rohit...Should not judge him on his T20 exploits despite his terrific record....I will still say he has it in him to be a mainstay in tests.... I think Our ODI batting is so good that Rohit puts too much pressure on himself but he is a different beast in T20's altogether...Adds grace to this crash,bang,wallop format Get him in the test squad right now

nope always said he is talented but very overhyped and is best for t20 actually i said before tounament he will be the diff between us winning or losing still totally againt him being in test will fight againt it like before ;) should play some county or a team level cricket
