Vijy Posted August 29, 2015 Posted August 29, 2015 Pujara if he settles down again is a captaincy threat for Kohli. Pujara has to deliver every time he gets the chance to stay in the race. This was a top knock under pressure! hear, hear
Marut Posted August 29, 2015 Posted August 29, 2015 I don't agree with OP... He failed in Australia and England... He didn't get dropped after one of two bad performances.. Anyways, he should now be selected ahead of Rohit Sharma... Pujara should be an automatic choice for matches played in Asia. There are no two ways about this.
Vijy Posted August 29, 2015 Posted August 29, 2015 Pujara should be an automatic choice for matches played in Asia. There are no two ways about this. Yes, the only better current performer is Amla... and unless we do an England (Kolpak-style), there's no way of having Amla in the Indian team... hmm, that idea does sound rather nice :)
Precambrian Posted August 29, 2015 Posted August 29, 2015 Stat facts : only one Indian batsman averages over fifty in test cricket in the last FIVE years. Yep, Pujara. Incredulous to think we be charged this guy and let clowns like No hit in the team.

Clownocracy: a form of government (or cricket team) of the clowns (present Indian team), by the clowns (management and BCCI) and for the clowns (most naive Indian fans who don't look beyond IPL).
Sandeep99 Posted August 29, 2015 Posted August 29, 2015 :hatsoff: What a knock. Still I am not sure if Pujara is gonna play in the next test or benched for the haramkhor madar tailunt  :hysterical::hysterical::hysterical:

nevada Posted August 29, 2015 Posted August 29, 2015 Epic knock by Pujara. All the 20-20 hackers should just feck off and leave the test arena alone. Let the Pujaras, Vijays and other hardworking players play classical cricket in the old fashioned way.
Vijy Posted August 29, 2015 Posted August 29, 2015 But Pujara has no flair or talent. Can he make those cool 20s studded with adventurous strokes? Nope. Leave that to Bunny... except that you should replace "20s" with zeroes.
Sandeep99 Posted August 29, 2015 Posted August 29, 2015 Rohit should either stick to LOIs or go back to first class and learn the art of test match batting. He's too flashy!
Vijy Posted August 29, 2015 Posted August 29, 2015 Rohit should either stick to LOIs or go back to first class and learn the art of test match batting. He's too flashy! Yes, he is prone to flashing.. and other such displays.

sandeep Posted August 29, 2015 Posted August 29, 2015 Pujara and Mooli are the steel frame which the flash boys can bat around. They should be automatic picks in the test XI. If the team "think-tank" wants to be aggressive, they should been aggressive picking Bhuvi over Binny and go for taking wickets. If you dont have confidence in your batting depth and need to pick Binny for his batting abilities, then why bench Chepu?

Hmm... that would be the logical question to ask, but then, please don't forget that you are dealing with clowns. And it's difficult to argue with idiots. As Twain said: “Never argue with stupid people, they will drag you down to their level and then beat you with experience.â€

Binny can jump up and twist like Fred Astaire, Bhuvi can only dream of doing that.
