Kohli' date=' Ravi bot, Sunny, Manju all Mumbai lobbyists got what they deserved.[/quote'] +1 Kohli is in it because he is new and wants to have some backing, he will do well to learn to not do too much politics and stick to playing the game.

the whole thing is ****ing disgusting.no talent hacks like rohit and staurt freaking binny get a crack at the 11 over pujara,i lost a lot of respect for kohli with his idiotic politics.i hope he makes up for it by picking pujara in all the matches vs the saffers.

With this innings next test Pujara certainly will play ahead of rohit however whats sad is people on this forum praying that rohit fails. Yes one may not like rohit or he might not have done justice to the opportunities he got but to wish that he fails isnt right.

Shastri was a batsman with limited strokes but did his best not to throw his wicket away. You would think that a guy like that would appreciate Pujara's value to a team. It would be disgraceful if Pujara does not get an extended run after this.

Sometimes you need to be down to realize it feels to get up. This might be a blessing in disguise for him.
true , take laxman as an example, he always had the talent was moved up and down the order yet only after the Aus test did he truly became a must. Maybe this innings does the same for Pujara.

Was expecting a Gollum pounding. And what a pounding it was. :cantstop: In the tour game too, Rohit FAILED and Pujara and Rahul rescued us and were 40 not out each. They made Pujara and Rahul RETIRE OUT the next day and then went on to drop Pujara. If those buggers bench Pujara after this test, they are fecked up losers. Shastri :hysterical: He got ***** slapped by Chepu. HARD. :hysterical:

Awesome awesome day. Thanks Che, you finally shut these pretentious, corrupt, biased, two faced lying sacks of ****. To Shastri and Kohli xuFpJPF.jpg This is a tight slap to these two arrogant selfish individuals who have put their vested interests over the country. No captain in Indian cricketing history has turned this venomous this early. Both Ganguly and Dhoni started their politics only after a couple of years but this shitsack Kohli thought it best to play Raina the hack over Che in Sydney after Che played a pivotal role in saving the previous test. When the garbage IPL hack got 2 ducks :hysterical: Nohit was brought back in Bangladesh as well as the 2 tests here, and he failed every single time. And then after the 2nd test this SOB had the audacity to indicate that irrespective of what Che would do in the 3rd test he would be benched after that. In spite of all the odds stacked up against him and after being asked to open Che has delivered an innings which Nohit can't dream of replicating in another 10 lifetimes. And unlike Kohli he didn't get out for 105, he actually went on and on as you must do in test cricket. The only batsman in the squad to average over 50 and having 2 200s and multiple 150s :hatsoff:.....he has shown his true worth. Shastri's reaction after Che's 100 was the icing on the cake. Mumbai lobby(spearheaded by that vicious snake Gavaskar) , Shastri, Kohli, Nohit will have a troubled night's sleep tonight and that makes me so happy. A bunch of ****ing useless ***otts is what they are. In spite of all this he may still get dropped from the home series but he has made an impression in the minds of test fans in the country. Also exposed the hollow political games our management has been playing all this while. We don't deserve to win this series with scumbags like Shastri at the helm, I have made peace with whatever will eventually happen after day 5 of this test. My happiest memory has been the look on the traitor Shastri's face when Che got the ton.
Awesome pounding Gollum-ji. Keep it up :two_thumbs_up:

Would serve the national team better if Kohli spends more time in the nets than pulling strings behind the scenes to get his pals in the XI. After his ruthless decapitation at the hands of Poms last year(worst returns by a number 4 in England in the last 100 years :cantstop:) his off side game, especially against the moving ball has become a joke. Here's what he should try to work on in the meantime in stead of plotting against Pujara/Mishrajee 1. Work on off side game, esp against the out swinging ball pitched up 2. Learn to kick on after 100s, take a cue from Che here, 105/106/107 won't serve your team as well as 205/210/220 !!! 3. Get better against spin bowling 4. Catching practice, worst catcher in world cricket right now 5. Try to be better at captaincy tactics, strategy. Enough of the bloody aggression cliche. I would suggest 'The Art of Captaincy' by Brearley as an initiation.
So true.

Picking Rohit Sharma in test matches in place of any other batsman is a wrong decision. Pujara should be an automatic choice if we are playing tests in the subcontinent. That being said....a lot of knee jerk reaction going on here. The new test captain / coach combo has looked far more positive in intent and are giving the impression that they want to put in a fight and win every match. Were we not wanting this badly when we were losing test after test overseas ? The biggest test for me is whether Kohli is willing to rectify his mistakes as he matures as a captain. If he still drops Pujara in the next test....that would show Kohli in very poor light.

2nd ball duck - bowled. Faulty technique EXPOSED brutally. :hysterical::hysterical::hysterical::hysterical::hysterical: EPIC confirmation that Team Management was right all along :hail: Fluky innings in 1st innings cannot hide the fact that there are serious technical faults in Chepu's batting. p.s - No flair in anycase ofcourse :P

even as i type' date=' i know kalia is typing a big post for this thread [/quote'] I told you in the match thread. No need for big essays. Crisp, to the point posts are enough :--D

Prasad to Pujara, OUT, you beauty! That is an abo****e corker and Pujara loses the top of middle! This was angled in, shaping to come in as well, Pujara covers for that line and gets squared up. But the ball pitches and moves away, clipped his thigh pad to tickle the stumps. Cant do much about that except admire the ball. Great start, much needed start. (Just like the first innings, when Rahul was bowled second ball)
You know you are awesome when you need a JAFFA to dismiss you. Lawyered.
