The Realist Posted March 17, 2016 Posted March 17, 2016 That six after 18.2 overs was a hilarious Dhoni-hybrid shot
goose Posted March 17, 2016 Posted March 17, 2016 It must be great being an Afghan cricket fan at the moment. God how i miss having a sh%t team but improving team.
sscomp32 Posted March 17, 2016 Posted March 17, 2016 Karim "My brother is a selector" sadiq is losing it for AFG. Pathetic batting and gives 10 run in first over.
chewy Posted March 17, 2016 Posted March 17, 2016 snow leopards opening quicks can bowl 140kph+ Mosher 1
sscomp32 Posted March 17, 2016 Posted March 17, 2016 SL are specialist associate bashers. They maybe minnows in between the full members but always and always turn up to bash associates. Specially Dilshan . And if Malinga plays expect a one sided mauling. Like i said.
zen Posted March 17, 2016 Posted March 17, 2016 Even if SL loses 2-3 quick wkts as long as Dilshan is batting, SL is in control
sandeep Posted March 17, 2016 Posted March 17, 2016 Even if SL loses 2-3 quick wkts as long as Dilshan is batting, SL is in control yeah, Dilshan is the key wicket, shouldn't have gotten thirimanne out here - he was eating balls quiet well.
sandeep Posted March 17, 2016 Posted March 17, 2016 SL sending Perera to bash it around a bit - I dont know if it shows confidence in Perera or lack of it in the rest of the batsmen - Kapugedra and Thirimanne look lost at the moment. If Afghans get Dilshan and there's 60+ to get, this will get really interesting.

On a flat track, if a wkt falls around the 10th over, it is not a bad idea to send someone who can get the scoreboard moving at a frantic pace

SL don't really have a Raina or Yuvi, so its easier for them to make this type of call. Crucial wicket for Afghanistan, really need to get Dilshan to win it though.
zen Posted March 17, 2016 Posted March 17, 2016 Hopefully, Dilshan will relax after getting his 50 and make a mistake .... but now it is SL's game to lose
sandeep Posted March 17, 2016 Posted March 17, 2016 Big over this from Rashid Khan - a wicket or at the minimum, no boundaries needed.
sandeep Posted March 17, 2016 Posted March 17, 2016 Misfield gifts a boundary - not winning like this. Afghans have gifted about 10 runs here, might end up being the difference.
Asim Posted March 17, 2016 Posted March 17, 2016 (edited) Oh no These misfields, byes, overthroughs from Afghan ruining whole of good work Edited March 17, 2016 by Asim sscomp32 1
sandeep Posted March 17, 2016 Posted March 17, 2016 Dilshan pulls a Gayle and takes his team to a win. Good batting from him. Experience beats the hard-working but inconsistent rookies. Not a bad effort, but Afghanistan will have a real "coulda, shoulda, woulda' feeling biting them. A better effort in the field would have changed this game a whole lot. Stuge 1
Stuge Posted March 17, 2016 Posted March 17, 2016 I would say Afghanistan is the only upcoming Asian team, which looks promising in current scenario.Plus point ,they are not made up of expats like UAE or Oman.Sent from my A0001 using Tapatalk
Mahaa Raavana Posted March 18, 2016 Posted March 18, 2016 Dilshan saves the day yet again, Afg scoring 100+ in the last 10 overs looks ominous for us. Hopefully Malinga willl be fit enough for the upcoming games.Sent from my SM-J200G using Tapatalk Misbah 1

If SL can pull that out, I guess, it becomes easy for qualification.
