I feel we did need a change from Shastri. the trend seems to be in favor of indian coach so don't think Moody will have a chance. Moody would have been an interesting choice. diga and tweaker 2

Simple......Dhoni and eventually Kohli would have walked all over a firangi coach and throw tantrum with selectors to get their players in.....Now with Kumble coming in there won't be space for that nonsense....but unfortunately they will not be able to oppose Kumble's recommendations either. Also Kumble is a patriot and a great player and so is Gavaskar but sometimes their judgement is clouded in deciding as to what is good for the country....they don't want India to lose it is just that they miscalculate what is best for India-2 different things
