Mohammed Shazad (AFG)- Is he a flower in the middle of a desert?

Has been consistently performing for AFG. Certainly there best batsmen. Keeps and opens...Was impressive in the WT20. Strong attitude.

Your thoughts? How good is he and will he walk into any of the top LOI teams? 

Scored 84 today against Scotland and single handedly carried their batting.

Beats up associate bowling but hasn't done much against the top 7 cricket countries.  Still credit to him for execution and self belief.  He might walk into PAK/SL/BONG because these teams don't have a quality 'keeper batsman.  Rest of the countries he wouldn't even make the squad.  His fitness is pretty poor and was even dropped from AFG for that reason.  Also he's only about average behind the stumps. 

 

Still, love rooting for Afghanistan cricket team and Shahzad when he's playing for them...

^^ Little harsh. He beat up SA bowling real bad in WT20. That was as brutal hitting i have ever seen. 

Pity his teammates and lack of experience of such situation didn't let AFG win.
