Yasir has decent control of line and length for a legspinner. If he keeps his head down and keeps improving I see no reason in him becoming the next big thing...

Yasir won the player of the match award in his first Test outside Asia and now leads Ashwin by seven points and Anderson by 10 points. The 30-year-old looks strong to gain further points and create more daylight between him and rest of the field as he is still in the qualification period. A bowler qualifies for a full rating after he has taken 100 wickets, while Yasir has so far claimed 86 wickets in 13 Tests.

Yup.Deserves it. His impact was from day-2 on a flat pitch. Not many spinners can do that.

Well deserving, the way eng play leg spin looks like he wud be troubling them a lot more. I expect other pitches to offer better bounce n carry which will be to his advantage. I dnt know for how long would he maintain this as ashwin has 20 test in favorable conditions and in 20 test he can take around 150 wkts. 

But if there is a choice among both Max captain wud go for Yasir

Same was Said about kaneria, no doubt he is damn good. He can break many records but with pakistan cricket anything can happen match fixing,doping, Internal politics, dressing room fights, fitness

As a Pakistani, I still don't rate him too highly. He gets most of his wickets due to bad shots.

TBH it was blessing in disguise that ICC banned that perennial cheat Azmal. Else this guy would have been not even warming the benches

 na na yaar aap galatee ho gayi. Ajmal rectified his bowling action. Guess how if both play together off spin + leg spin. If so Pakistan will be a complete bowling power house, also would have been able to come to #1 of the world in all 3 formats. Hope Ajmal will join the national side soon.
