There is an Indian club which plays cricket. All local University students though. If you thought US doesn't know cricket, it's a lot worse here.

A great piece of history there, considering cricket later died in the US.

I assume with more Indians, the game is at least known?

Yes more people know (relative to other parts of US) but obviously played by expats. There is a local cricket association and we got some news coverage. Check this out.

Americans kinda like that format of the game and equal it to Baseball. Currently, the USA cricket team is full of expats (Indian origin mostly). Great to know @maniac and @laaloo. You will be surprised.....I used to live in CHicago where they even had a WI team and Pak team made of expats from those countries They had 2 different leagues one with hard tennis and one with cricket ball.

I know, Chicago is a great place to live and find Indians and Pakistanis. NYC is another one.

Yes....NYC not New Jersey.....as they say New Jersey is the armpit of the USA -Laaloo I heard Texas is another great place for cricket leagues. I had a colleague from Memphis.....African-American and not a 2nd or 3rd generation migrant from WI but apparently Memphis has a cricketing culture among some African-American populace. SImilarly,I knew another American -white guy who apparently lived in Srilanka for 2 years after his under-grad...he is a huge fan of cricket and loves the Srilankan cricket team...by that I don't mean a casual fan...he can even talk stats and technicalities of the game. Texas has a quite a Indian presence as well. I was in a flight to Houston, TX and I was stunned with the voices in Hindi and Telugu. :) WI as in Wisconsin?

No Migrant from westindies...he was an African-American and not from Westindies but said that Cricket is played among some African Americans in Memphis
