sandeep Posted August 23, 2016 Posted August 23, 2016 McGrath says Veer Pratap Singh best pace bowling prospect he's seen in India? Never heard of him. Cricinfo Profile tweaker 1
gakgupta Posted August 23, 2016 Posted August 23, 2016 I think he is from bengal....shami took him out of the team Sent from my XT1068 using Tapatalk
express bowling Posted August 23, 2016 Posted August 23, 2016 This is McGrath's quote from the Times of India article on our budding pace talent. He is identifying Veer Pratap, Nathu Singh, Ankit Rajput and Aniket Chaudhury. ICF have been talking about the last 3 for quite some time. "Couple of guys that stand out, Veer Pratap Singh is probably the best I have seen, he is bowling exceptionally well, he has got good pace, he swings the ball. He had little taste of IPL cricket. Anikeet Chaudhary, Ankit Rajput, Nathu Singh, they are good young upcoming bowlers." tweaker and Mosher 2

Cricinfo Profile Veer Pratap is a pacer from Bengal. He has the height and had the pace. After an injury, he was bowling 118 k to 125 k when I saw him last a few months ago. I hope he gets his original pace back because he has the bounce, accuracy and swing. Mosher 1
rkt.india Posted August 23, 2016 Posted August 23, 2016 (edited) Yes, he is good. He bowled 140 at 20 in IPl then got injured, was down in pace last season due to injury but will get it back. Edited August 23, 2016 by rkt.india Mosher 1

Ankit_sharma03 Posted August 23, 2016 Posted August 23, 2016 Saw him last to last yr, looked really good. Bowled quick, was sharp and skiddy and bowled good length. Was down in pace last yr, also in last leg of ranji Bengal captain was highly excited by Monu kumar .
Mosher Posted August 23, 2016 Posted August 23, 2016 It is strange that Aniket Choudhary is not in any of the squads? Is he injured? express bowling 1

MCcricket Posted August 24, 2016 Posted August 24, 2016 Bowlers from Rajasthan are side tracked because of BCcI has issues with RCA over Modi who is their elected head, hope Nathu, Aniket don't pay the cost for this fight, also Aniket n Veer P Singh might be in Australia send there by Me currently per reports
rkt.india Posted August 24, 2016 Posted August 24, 2016 Aniket Chaudhary needs to get his chances soon. He is 26 years old and very much ready for Indian team. He should have been in WI instead of Shardul. Now we have no overseas tours for next 2 years and that is pathetic. Mosher and tweaker 2

express bowling Posted August 24, 2016 Posted August 24, 2016 They went to Australia from July 24 to August 8 Excerpts from a Cricbuzz article : http://www.cricbuzz.com/cricket-news/81040/cricket-pacer-bowlers-aniket-choudhary-veer-pratap-singh-to-train-in-brisbane Aniket Choudhary and Veer Pratap Singh, the pacers who have been working at the MRF Pace Foundation in Chennai, are set to train in Brisbane's National Cricket Centre from July 24 to August 6. "Veer Pratap Singh, Ankeet Rajput and Nathu Singh, who have been under me at the MRF, are very good," Glenn McGrath, who works are the director at the MRF Pace Foundation, said about the pacers. tweaker 1
express bowling Posted August 24, 2016 Posted August 24, 2016 These 4 pacers, Nathu, Rajpoot, Veer Pratap and Aniket, should be chosen where ever possible, like Duleep Trophy, A -tours etc. to give them a wide range of experience and maximum chance to develop. Mosher and tweaker 2

Its looks evident from his action he has come from an injury He is from bihar, moved to bengal for obvious reasons. Also played few matches for DC in IPL. I remember there was a good article in local newspaper here the after he made his debut for DC. Followed him for some matches and he was good before injury forced him to take a break. Looks clear he is coming back from injury. For those who cant watch star sports videos. https://streamable.com/quym Mosher, express bowling and Bleed-Blue 3
