Self harming? Are we getting any benefits from Pakistan otherwise? Let me tell you that they are a worthless as a country, no other country can possibly gain from them.

We can derecognise them and break all diplomatic relations and refuse to recognise a Pakistani passport. That is a right every govt. Possess.

Why should Pakistanis be banned from ICF?

No, it is called breaking diplomatic relations. That we can do. We did it with Rep. of South Africa during Apartheid years- it means we severed all diplomatic relations, including travel rights of citizens/passport-holders to the said nation. But we still recognized South Africa as a nation, since we already did that.

No.Once you sever all diplomatic relations and declare that you dont recognise Pakistan as a state thats that.

I disagree.

We cannot declare Pakistan as an unrecognized nation- that would be in violation of international law regarding previous govt. dictum. Stuff like alliances/deals etc. are always subject to breakage- but in terms of sovereignty, its not so easy. It creates trust issues in other facets of the government, since a government that will un-recognize another state, can basically, do anything. Or so the thinking goes.
When we broke relations with RSA, we didnt stop recognizing them as a nation. That, we cannot go back on the word of our previous government- no respectable international government can, which is why even when Afghanistan gets invaded 10 ways to Sunday, nobody de-recognizes them. Only nations that have never recognized one another (for e.g.: the N & S Koreas) can effectively 'stall' but going back on recognized state, without fundamental demographic/geographic shift of that state (or that state failing to exist in the future), recognition that it is a state, is a pretty inviolable concept in international politics.

When you dont recognise a nation all bilateral ties treaties etc etc all become void.It has nothing to do with other countries or multilateral issues.

There is no issue with derecognising Pakistan. That doesnt effect Pakistans sovereignity.

But the thing is that we havent even called back our high commisioner let alone do anything else.

It most definitely has multilateral implications, since de-recognizing a government is implicit for 'going back on your recognition word'. As i said, it simply is not done that way. When countries break total relations, they still recognize each other as countries, if they already have done so in the past. Only a survival failure for that country causes that country to be not recognized anymore. Just go check, when we broke relations with RSA, we still recognized RSA as a country.

The matter of recognition and territorial integrity is mutual and cannot be msintained if the other side violates it.Also India has never recognised POK as part of Pakistan. So there are lot of grounds for India to not recognise pakistan.

Do not purchase any pakistani goods. There are lots of masalas, basmati rice that comes from pak these days and i see them even in Indian stores, brandishing themselves as Indian masala, boycott them, unless you want to sponsor terror.

It is Ind water that allows for a large quantity of food to be grown in Pak. If no food is grown, what will come through the Wagah border?

Just layoff anything pakistani as individuals. Do not use them, products either realworld or service never again anything pakistani.
