Allrounder Hardik Pandya has had to leave the team as well, having hurt his right shoulder while training at the PCA Stadium. The BCCI's medical staff have advised him to "consult a specialist to decide the future course of action". No replacements were named by the board in its media release.

I don't think he will be as quick as this, might bowl upto 140, after this injury.

This is a congenital disorder and not sustained while playing. It is less an injury but more of a condition of his spine. He had this condition when he bowled this quick.

A cheif selector speaking to young india probables and explaining them the roadmap to team india ....

MSK says Pandya is a one-off talent, hence his unorthodox selection. But, doesn't say the same about Pant (otherwise he would have been selected too) - that might mean that the selectors don't rate him as highly as Pandya

one off talent for india... there is no competition really for a seaming all rounder's place. may be thats why
pant will be selected soon though

Hi,

Myself Arya64,my first post @ICF.i would like to shares my thought with you guys.I wonder why England Includes Liam Dawson for Mumbai test? Keaton Jennings also makes it for injured Hameed as specialist opener but past history says, shaun UDAL @Leggie skilled India dismissed for 100 at wankhede.

What you think of Dawson or R.Jadeja's performance will be ,as both of them GREAT LEG SPINNER.

I think England's last chance to bounce back as India lead series 2/0

Good and bad. Good because Parthiv had to be retained as a batsman for this series and bad that we will be missing Saha, the keeper.

Ganguly is right. It does put pressure on Saha, especially if Parthiv ends up keeping well in next two games. I hope Parthiv has a clean game and continues to work on his faults. Thing with Parthiv is not his technique as a keeper, it is his complacency that he misses the same catches, the ones which he had caught before. That is more mental than anything. Yes, he will have few minor errors, but at international level, player can manage as long as they are " staying in the game," but Parthiv does not at times and hence he makes morels errors than other keepers.
