BBS(Bumrah-Bhuvi-Shami) Attack for all the formats

Its a fair comparison between Yadav at Pune and Bhuvi at Cuttack - both flat tracks against powerhouse batting.  Sure its one game - but you can see the contrast - one guy has displayed an armory of variation with complete command over it, with the know-how of how and when to use them.

I don't want to bash Umesh, because he has had a very good last 15 months and improved significantly from his spray-gun days.  But in ODIs, he's a clear 2nd to Bhuvi - unless we are playing on a flat track, but quicker and bouncier, i.e. aussie type tracks.  Its no co-incidence that WC 2015 was Yadav's best performance.

On bouncier tracks, where Umesh can bowl Pandya style - short of length at pace - he will be hard to get away against non-aussie batsmen.  But everywhere else, Bhuvi is way more likely to do better.

Belief is more than for one game. Bhuvi is one of the best in the country and hence people wanted him. Bumrah and Shami are already rated high. All three together are too good.

That makes no sense at all.

People have been wanting to see him in the team for a while for a reason. They predicted these things when they saw Umesh Yadav bowling with no brain in the death overs.

Yep BK ahead of Umesh in ODI's and I like Umesh's bowling. But this bashing of Umesh needs to stop. People here are over excitable. One great match- He is a great bowler. One poor match - he needs to quit ODI's. Too many knee jerk reactions.

But if Pandya has to be picked then I think the  team management will opt for shami and bumrah /bhuvi (only one of them) along with him with jaddu and ashwin.

Yes and this is just about the trio and hence no one bashing anyone. This is just how good our trio attack can be. No one bashing Umesh. I think if we can have these three guys play in Champions trophy, we have a great chance to win in England then.

Saying a bowler with no brains is not bashing him? You're just like the rest of us. You have your favorites as well. You're no different.

Pandya has long way to go. He needs to prove that he can bowl more than 7-8 overs or we can rely on his bowling. He has bowled decent so far and bowled bad today. We need to monitor his bowling in next few games and see if he can continue to play for us as a bowler who bats. His bowling is really important for him to play as all rounder for us.

Noway we will play 5 regular bowlers.

Agreed regarding pandya, but I think Kohli n company wants to have a player like him at no. 7 who can contribute with both bat and bowl.. So if we pick shami, bhuvi, bumrah, then one among jadeja n ashwin might  miss out

Yes we all have favorites. That spill over from other threads probably where we are also discussing Umesh.

Yep, we all got favorites and I back the one I see who can do well and Bhuvi is the talent which needs to be not just backed but needs to be played every game so India can win.

You do bring Yadav in almost every post of yours. The problem is with your knee jerk reactions. Everybody gets smashed in ODI's. It does not mean they should quit. BK has the record for the most expensive bowling by an Indian bowler does that mean he should never play ODI's?
