gakgupta Posted March 19, 2017 Posted March 19, 2017 Isnt it obvious that they were cheating? How come suddenly they are getting every decision wrong? It's such shame. They shouldn't forget that they are representing a wonderful country.. Gollum, kira and sscomp32 3
TheWall Posted March 19, 2017 Posted March 19, 2017 When all the help from the dressing room is cut short.. this is what happens... maybe they will hire a DRS coach now... Vilander, sandeep, sscomp32 and 2 others 5
BeautifulGame Posted March 19, 2017 Posted March 19, 2017 Can't blame them . With weather conditions bad all day they probably had poor reception from dressing room. Gollum, Sidhoni, sscomp32 and 2 others 5
Ultimate_Game Posted March 19, 2017 Posted March 19, 2017 Proves Kohli right and good on Kohli for calling out Aussies. We are reaping the benefit now as Aussies can't get DRS decisions right by relying on the dressing room. TheWall and sscomp32 2

Popular Post kubrickian Posted March 19, 2017 Popular Post Posted March 19, 2017 (edited) Quite surprising how ICC chose to completely sweep this under the rug as though nothing had happened ? I bet if India did something like this, there would be a furor from Aussie media. Indian media is pretty worthless as usual. Exhibit A: Aussies got almost all DRS decisions correct in the first two Tests Exhibit B: Kohli saw Aussies cheating the DRS system by relying on dressing room to help with the decisions and called out Aussies Exhibit C: Aussies were caught on video cheating headed by their captain (Smith) Exhibit D: Since the time Aussies were caught cheating they have almost got all the DRS reviews wrong And it's not a minor thing as if you allow a team to get their DRS decisions correct, it's a huge advantage as even a single decision can turn the game as we are seeing this Test. Just because aussies have got it wrong in this test doesn't necessarily mean kohli's accusations were correct. That last incident was a brainfart from Smith's part. Ppl can claim all sorts of things but it's upto them to back those claim with proper evidence. Has kohli provide any? See my post above this one for explanation... in nutshell if you were getting majority of DRS reviews correct and after being called out for cheating you start getting nearly every decision wrong, it's more than a coincidence. Ultimate_Game Posted March 19, 2017 Posted March 19, 2017 20 minutes ago, Prince_ said: To be completely honest aussies have been quite smart with their reviews and reviewd only the real close calls in the first two tests whereas India especially kohli did exactly the opposite and wasted all of their reviews by reviewing 20-80 calls. Now a conspiracy theory can very well be developed based on Australia's success rate with the reviews in first two tests, but then again it could also be our imagination. Conspiracy theory involves hearsay and no proof and hence is termed "theory". In this instance there's more than enough evidence that it's not a theory. As you mention how can Aussies who were so "smart" with their DRS calls suddenly get nearly every call incorrect since Kohli and umpires caught up to them? Maybe the real DRS smarts of the Aussies were in the dressing room which they can't rely on anymore. Some of the DRS calls by Aussies since the Smith incident have been so poor that it reinforces Kohli's point about Aussies relying on off field assistance with DRS. TheWall, ryan268 and sscomp32 2 1

I also bashed Smith for being a cheat, but we also can't rule out the fact that it could also be a brainfart from Smith's part especially considering the fact that the match situation was quite tensed back then and the reasult of that match was depending on his wicket. It's kohli who shouldn't have made those claims in front of the media as the captain of the host nation. But you didn't answer the question. In the first 2 tests, they called it right most of the time. Not so much anymore. Just bad luck? express bowling, New guy, sscomp32 and 1 other 4
King Tendulkar Posted March 19, 2017 Posted March 19, 2017 Always happening team struggling and getting dominated goes for desperate reviews and screw up team well on top is relaxed and goes for reviews it genuinely feels will go in their favour
kira Posted March 20, 2017 Posted March 20, 2017 Even without scoring any runs, kohli has still given the aussies an epic phainty by exposing their cheating. You just can't keep kohli out of the game TheWall, Mosher, sscomp32 and 1 other 4
