Ultimate_Game
One more Test and one more drop by a close-in fielder. I get the feeling Nair has dropped the test and the series by dropping Warner first delivery. With a very short batting lineup India simply doesn't have the luxury of dropping catches. Gollum
Last match also he dropped Handscomb when he was <10 of Ashwin's bowling. Link to comment

Texan
The new guys Rahul and Nair's catching is pathetic. Really need a kick on their rear side for such shoddy work. sandeep 1 Link to comment

It's not just the catching. Why was the entire team smiling for 2 minutes after the drop? Don't these mofos have no shame? Link to comment

Can't figure out why our slip catching and close-in fielding is so poor in general given our fielding is pretty good and the players coming through are generally fit and athletic. Simply no reason to be such a poor catching side. Link to comment

NameGoesHere
Nair's is an error generated from shoddy preparation, so I'm not sure what would be an appropriately just punishment. I would almost consider dropping the guy next Test, but it could be cutting off one's nose to spite your face kind of thing. Some punishment needs to be devised- anyone can make an error, but to make it because you're not working/practising right is not on. sandeep 1 Link to comment

kubrickian
Match is not lost because of one catch. Also it was not an easy catch. Went wide, dived and couldnt hold on. It happens. Move on. Link to comment
NameGoesHere
^^ It's not that he dropped a difficult chance, it's that the way he set himself up for the catch reveals clear- and fixable - technical deficiencies that can be fixed but we're not sure why they're not being fixed. beetle 1 Link to comment
