All the dhoni fans (ex csk fans) have already taken off their lungis and have started 'loving' Pune now so chuskis are irrelevant. Even super bhabi is not wearing the csk gear anymore. They could also have 3 games on Sat & Sundays if they want to keep the single game over weekdays. I say give the double header day games to small cities like Dharamshala, Jharkhand etc to host as these places are guaranteed to be packed stadium even for earlier IPl games which start around 4PM IST. So basically, each team will play three teams twice and with rest of them they will play once, and do a lottery draft schedule who plays whom twice. 10 teams can be easily done. This sort of logic is stupid .They were auctioned teams for 2 years .So even if we decide on ten teams which is unlikely ,two teams has to be freshly auctioned . And remember if they end up auctioning it will be regular auction not that Reverse auction which was done for just two years .The prices will be hugely different and more. EPL has top four places of Champions league 5-6 for EL and bottom 3 for relegation. Here if just play a EPL style league system without playoffs , 90% games will be meaningless even before the half way stage as most teams won't have the chance of topping by then.
