We overesitmated our side.  Epic humiliation is around the corner. :cantstop:

 You will win. You can roll them over below 200 and possibly below 100 in both their innings and they are playing last

Next time onwards before our test tours to England we should look to play a 2 test series in Ireland as warm up. This looks like a stiff challenge with the Irish boys at least trying their level best on a green deck. In our pre Eng tour warm ups generally we are given unmotivated 3rd string county sides, and matches are played on pattas the likes which we never see in the test matches. Both in 2016 and now, Pakistan's prep before the Eng series has impressed me, good on PCB. BCCI with all the $$$ can't even match a generally inept PCB in terms of prep for overseas tour. The SA series earlier this year had by far the worst preparation by any team in the history of test cricket, forget warm up matches we didn't even get outdoor practice in the lead up to the 1st test.

Good one....never knew this rule

Fun fact: In our historic 1971 WI tour (also Gavaskar's debut series) in the very 1st match at Sabina Park, Jamaica we had a similar situation. 1st day was washed out completely and then we took a 1st innings lead of 170 runs. After the innings our openers went to pad up while WI boys were ready to take the field. Suddenly Venkatraghavan went to Wadekar (captain) and asked him why he wasn't enforcing follow on. Wadekar told him lead was only 170, Venkat asked him to tell the umpires that India was enforcing follow on. Even umpires didn't know the rule, WI skipper Sobers was furious and came to Indian dressing room to pick a fight. Match was stalled for an hour, crowd got impatient because the officials had gone to fetch a Wisden rulebook. Everyone was mad at Venkat but he stood his ground. Then the rule book came and the offie was proved right, when rain washes day 1, a 150 run lead is enough to enforce follow on. Sobers in his autobiography praised Venkat over this incident and said no wonder he became the world's finest umpire, or something along those lines .

Here's the scorecard http://www.espncricinfo.com/series/17262/scorecard/63066/west-indies-vs-india-1st-test/

WI drew that match courtesy Kanhai (158) and Sobers (93).

Though Ireland will start as firm favorite due to home advantage and being a superior team, I wont be surprised if Pakistan somehow manage to upset the apple cart.

Game starts at 11:00 AM BST

Ireland were Follow-on because day one wash out so remains of 4 days = 98 overs a day.

Ireland scored only 130 as 10 player making début, they were 30 short to make Pakistan bats again, Tourist enforced follow-on, but Pakistan Fielding very poor with dropped catches and run out missed.

Still plenty overs left in the match as I predicts Pakistan's victory,

Year 1877 Australia win to their Inaugural test but here Ireland not looks to me, winner.

Ireland's Balbirnie get the pair, he become 44th player in test dismissed on pair on début including Saeed Anwar,Elgar,Valentine,Gooch,C Ramchand and many others.

Excellent batting by these two esp Kevin.

Fixer has bowled well surprising but the pick of them was Abbas imo. He could prove to be an asset in this tour.

Rest were rubbish. And what's with this Fahim guy, Pakistani Pandya? Although his pace seemed a bit slower compared to Hardik.

If by some miracle, Ireland manage to get above 180-190, I would say that makes them favorites.   Unlikely that they will get that far though.

Pak chasing even 130 in test match is going to be fun watching .
