JNU student elections results have been declared and Commies registered another thumping victory winning all 4 seats by a considerable margin.

How the fck do these leftist b@stards keep on winning in JNU inspite of all the hoopla about wave of Nationalism in India?

It's astounding to think that we still have a communist influence in this country in this day and age.

That is democracy.

A bit of the blame has to go to the right wingers for making the ' centrists' and fence sitters uncomfortable.

People with liberal views will always be vary of right wingers and their agendas .

The only reason the leftists are getting a bad name is because their agendas are becoming anti national.

If you take that anti national stuff out of the equation, then most normal, liberal, centrist ,thinking people will be more comfortable with the moderate leftist ideology .

People over hype JNU. There are a number of universities around the country, only this one gets national attention because of the hooliganism. The normal universities don't engage in such behavior, so don't get attention.

ABVP has been winning elections all around as well.

The left parties AISA SFI DSU AISF all used to fight elections separately in JNU and one of them would win. But now they all have to fight together to beat ABVP.Thats the difference.

JNU TISS these kind of places have leftist ruling the roost. But their ground is slipping.

Left,Right are just words to be thrown around.

Liberal is such a relative term.We have seen how "liberals" behave on FOE :)

The words - Left and Right came about from French Parliament. Since the revolution, commoners started entering the parliament, they wanted to segregate them because they didn't bathe often and were smelly. So, they started segregating them to be seated on the left side, while the upper class sat on the right.  And we Indians are fighting our battles based on this western ideas and concepts is truly a sham. As per original custom, the Left were stinking and they still do in thought.

Duh! Left bastion mein left hi jeetega na.

There in lies the challenge. Cracking these bastions in due course of time, be it jnu or state of West Bengal. Too bad modiji can't give political speeches & campaign in univ or else they might have had a chance :p:

Let me not say too much at this point. If BJP win in 2019, WB will see a blitzkreig campaign in next State election at a booth level likes of which we haven’t seen.
